By downloading, installing, or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these terms, then you may not access the Service.

By creating an account or using Remember, you confirm that:

• Receive location-based and time-based reminder notifications

3. User Accounts and Registration

To use certain features of Remember, you must create an account. You agree to:

5. Subscription and Payment Terms

Remember offers both free and premium subscription plans. Premium features may include:

• Priority customer support

Billing and Payments

• Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
• Payments are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store
• Subscription automatically renews unless cancelled before the next billing cycle
• No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods
• We reserve the right to change subscription prices with 30 days notice

6. Data and Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our data practices are governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Key points include:

• Voice recordings are processed for transcription and then deleted unless you choose to keep them
• We use AI services (OpenAI) for transcription, but your data is not stored by third-party AI providers
• All data is encrypted and stored securely
• You maintain ownership of your reminder content and data

7. Intellectual Property Rights

Remember and all related trademarks, logos, and intellectual property are owned by us. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Your Rights

You retain ownership of the content you create using Remember, including your voice recordings and reminder text. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and display your content solely to provide the Service.

8. Service Availability and Modifications

We strive to provide reliable service, but we cannot guarantee:

• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• That the Service will meet all your specific requirements
• Compatibility with all devices or operating systems

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time with reasonable notice to users.

9. Limitation of Liability

• Remember is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim
• We are not responsible for missed reminders due to technical issues, device problems, or user error

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

11. Termination

By You

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting the app and contacting us to request account deletion.

By Us

We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or for any other reason with reasonable notice.

Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases, and we will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Remember will be resolved through binding arbitration rather than in court, except where prohibited by law. You and Remember agree to waive the right to a trial by jury or to participate in a class action.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the app or by email. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
